I am writing to share devastating news. My dear dear friend “Kahtia” passed away on Friday. I had lunch with her on Thursday and she was doing great – optimistic, funny, beautiful.

I know that many people who read this blog have become attached to Kahtia through the stories of her life. I think it would make her happy to know that people who never met her face to face know and care and think about her.
